Carnivorous plants captivate students. They are a great way to get students excited about plants and biology. They can be used to introduce a number of topics ranging from Nitrogen cycling to convergent evolution.

In addition to providing information about terrarium set-up and maintenance this website contains some educational materials for high-school level students. Follow the links on the left to learn more!

The materials presented in the website were created and assembled while being supported by a National Science Foundation funded MO-STEP Fellowship and while working with students at Normandy High School in St. Louis, Missouri.
