A quick guide to establishing a carnivorous plant terrarium in the classroom.

To bring carnivorous plants to our students, we set up two terrariums with carnivorous plants. With one exception, we have used species of plants native to tropical and sub-tropical climates, which are ideally suited for a terrarium environment. Below I provide directions for replicating what we have done.

Carnivorous plant terrariums are not that difficult to set-up and are very easy to maintain once you get them going! We hope we have provided everything you need to get started.
